Viral vectors and plasmids of general interest are made available through our repository.
Ordering of plasmids from the repository has to be done by sending us an e-mail.
Ordering of AAV viral vectors from the repository has to be done through our Ordering System.
The ordering system contains detailed information about each AAV vector:
AAV serotypes or capsid variants currently not available can be ordered as well (production upon request, requires about 3 to 4 weeks once initiated). Please note that we have currently suspended the production of new AAV serotypes for the repository. For further information, see the News section.
The repository can be accessed without registration using the "Guest access" button. This way, a PO can be generated for your financial department before placing an order (simply print out or produce a PDF of the order before submitting it).
To place orders, a registration is required. Only PIs are allowed to register directly. Once registered, PIs can initiate the registration of their group members (GMs) if required (by simply providing their names and a valid e-mail address). Please note that a PI can set the status of a GM to read-only. Further information about the registration can be found here.
The address information (invoice and shipping) needs to be provided only once and can be reused for subsequent orders.
Furthermore, new address information can be entered or existing information can be modified anytime if required.
AAV viral vectors are provided as 50 µl aliquots.
Currently, we offer the production of serotypes 1, 2, 3B, 4, 5, 6, 6(F129L), 7, 7m8, 8, 9, rh10, DJ, DJ/8, DJ/9, PHP.eB, PHP.S, PHP.V1, Anc80L65 and retro.
For all AAV based viral vectors, a physical titer is determined and an identity check based on PCR and sequencing is performed.
If you are interested in a viral vector that is not listed there, but considered to be of interest to other scientists as well, we might produce this viral vector and make it available through our repository. Please contact us for further consideration.
Viral vector plasmids are provided as 20 µg to 50 µg aliquots. All our plasmids are completely sequenced and come along with a fully annotated electronic sequence.
