09.02.2016Improvement of AAV purification

The standard protocol for purification of AAV vectors contains a time consuming freeze-thaw lysis of the producer cells. The Viral Vector Facility managed to improve this step using the Minilys from Bertin Technologies. With the Minilys, lysis of cells is accomplished within 5 minutes. Infectivity and viral titers are not impaired by using the Minilys.
